Ed,
What is this?
but why do you become defensive any time someone questions the Republican views, or asks intelligent questions about your opinions or your sources?
I don't get defensive about people questioning my sources. Please show me where.

1. Please let me know if "Yanks blinders" (I don't even know where to put [sic] on that one) is a personal attack so I can report it.
2. I didn't start this thread--you did. I understand your confusion, though.
3. Maybe I was wrong. I guess my "Yanks blinders" led me to believe that walking on water was a Christ reference. I forgot that more than one messiah has done that.

ok...here we go...this is why these posts are so dangerous...we have now moved completely away from ACORN, and it is becoming a war of words. Politics has a tendency to do this to people, which is why I (usually) stay out of these. from here on out, nothing is going to be resolved on this thread.

Mike- I must apologize for the line regarding you becoming defensive when your sources are questioned, I misread a post.

Nope. I have blinders also.
2. I didn't start this thread--you did. I understand your confusion, though.
Yes, but you haven't addressed anything on topic of the thread.
3. Maybe I was wrong. I guess my "Yanks blinders" led me to believe that walking on water was a Christ reference. I forgot that more than one messiah has done that.
Yes, you were wrong. Talking about followers thinking their leader walks on water is not an attack on religion. Reporting a thread on SCF just because you don't like the author is telling and a waste of SCF staff time.

Ed, I can get hot headed, but my sources are usually not questioned and when they are I don't get mad, I just find more. I'm more of an anti-Obama guy than a pro-McCain guy. I have stated several times that McCain was my 5th choice

See post 7. That's a contribution.
As another digression, isn't it a violation of my confidentiality to disclose my reports to the public?

That is totally your right- personally, i dont care for either of them- but it seems to me that too often the political debates here turn into attacks on each others beliefs. To refute someones proof is one thing- but to attack them for simply believing in something bothers me...and Im not pointing fingers at anyone, just noticing a trend. Ive always been happy to listen to peoples points of views- whether they are backed up by fact or not- but very rarely do I try to change someones views. If they are misinformed, I will share valid information, but the attacking of beliefs that happens here really serves no purpose

im pretty sure that, since this is a public forum, anything you say is considered public, and you are held liable for it. the only stuff that is confidential is personal information, anything you say here is considered public
