i agree with techman (me being tall (6'6") and playing basketball, i drop shorter, weaker players all the time and im not to hurt them.)

shaq doesnt have MUCH of a history of trying to hurt people. even rocket fans point doesnt make sense, shaq just pushed people, have you ever been hurt by being pushed, no.

he maybe should get another fine, MAYBE, but he shouldnt get suspended or basketball is becoming football- a sport where you cant do anything anymore

You aren't supposed to be able to "do anything" in basketball as to why their are fouls, technical fouls, and flagrant fouls. Shaw threw him to the floor after he caught him in mid air. It was blatant and he should be suspended for a minimum of 2 games for it.

Shaq has never taken anyone out on purpose, as much as he is beat on every game,i would have to return the punishment sometimes.

Shaq summed it up best when a big person and a little person collide in air the little person is going to fall. If Shaq was trying to take him out his hands wouldnt have been anywhere near the ball.

So should big players not be allowed to attempt a block on a guard anymore? Because theres always a chance for the little guy to go down.

Anyway i guess im wasting my time, as it looks like a bunch of Shaq haters here replying anyway. Maybe they should ban him from the NBA?? LOL

Uh, I love the Big Shaqtus and I still think that there is no way he didn't know about the potential damage he could've done to Stuckey before he went for that stupid block.

Shaq deserved a fine and suspension. He's old and is resorting to wacking people around now. Play some ball.

Shaq deserved the fine, but I don't think he had any intentions to hurt Stuckey. Speaking of Shaq, he's been playing pretty well so far. Let's see if he can keep it up!

You obviously need to watch the tape as I never said Shaq jumped. I said Stuckey jumped and Shaq caught him in mid-air and had his hand by his head and threw him to the ground. Your ignorance is bliss on this as you are acting like he did nothing wrong. The NBA made a bad mistake in not suspending him and just fining him because the main reason was Stuckey was ok but he should have been suspended for not wanting to leave the court. I guess some people don't want to believe what they see to themselves and it is hilarious. HE THREW HIM TO THE GROUND!!!!!!!!!

You obviosuly need to watch it if you didnt see shaq jump. Your saying shaq was standing there and stuckey jumped and shaq caught him and threw him to thr ground????

No Stucky jumped Shaq jumped they collided and stuckey fell to the ground hitting his face off the court. I can see where it could be excessive, but theres a chance this could happen whenever a small guard drives to the basket and a defender tries to block. Bodies can always colide and of course the smaller body will suffer.

They collided Shaq never "threw" him to the ground
