I heard that amare is going to the cavs as well about a week ago for szcerbiak,big ben and jj hickson,the suns are over or are going to be over the luxury tax by next season so theyre tryng to get rid of big contracts.

What i dont understand is that why would they get rid of their most promising young player,instead of getting rid of old players like shaq,hill,or even nash?

Iam a big suns fan but ever since kerr got in there hes just wrecked the whole team starting from coach even to the players. Look at bell and diaw and theyre performing much better than some of these suns players.

If i was the suns manager, what i would have done is kept marion and not gotten shaq. Marion is much faster was avergaing almosty the same as shaq and shaq is a 7 footer compared to marion. Marion is more athletic,great blocker and rebounder and a great slasher.

In regards to diaw and bell, i would have kept diaw because hes still young and has alot of potential, i would have traded hill and bell to the bobcats and gotten richardson and cash or a draft pick. That way the lineup could of looked something like this:

Nash
richardson
marion
diaw
amare

now tell me that you wouldnt like this lineup? You have a great passer in nash and decent one in diaw. You have 3pt threats in nash and richardson, great rebounders in amare and marion, and if they would of kept dantoni, we would have a much better record this year. What they really need is good players coming off the bench.

yea i dont see the spurs trading for sheed unless they get a third team involved. The Spurs have NOTHING we want. so we would have to get a third team involved in order to make this make any sense. thanx

Its not always about the players being exchanged. A lot of trades are based on contracts, draft picks, and cash considerations.


I can see the Spurs acquring Sheed without having to give up a core player...but I do not see us landing Vince Carter unless Ginobili/Parker was traded. THAT I do not want to see!

Oh, they will. That Alex Acker deal is looking to be a deal in order to make a larger deal.
