    I keep reading about Payton's defense ... what about Kidds? He is All-Defensive, and his D on the final shot vs. Detroit in Game 2 sums it all up.
    And as for Payton's scoring - teams with scoring point guards don't win championships. When was the last time that happened? It might happen this year with Tony Parker, but I wouldn't exactly call him a true scorer yet.

    Kidd ...i can't name 5 players i'd rather have on me team than jason kidd...just my opinion

    If they were the same age, I'd take Payton. They're not, so I'll take Kidd.

    I'd take Kidd also. He's good all the way around. Maybe Payton was better in his younger years but I didn't know much about him then. If we are talking now, Kidd wins hands down. Payton has a tuff time making a lay up these days and doesn't know when to shut up. I hope he does go to LA. We got Desmond Mason and he was the TRUE deal in that trade!
