    Whats the difference?

    can anyone tell me the difference (and how to spot it) between a common card and a minor star im trying to find the prices of some of my collection.

    I'd say just use your best judgment. There's no real formula for it. For me it's when I say, "I wonder why he's not listed".

    There is supposed to be a list in the beckett just after the price guide. Most of the time it doesn't have players listed right. I would say that if you coudn't give the player away its a common. LOL

    Common would be the benchwarmers....minor stars would be the not-so-recognized players - stars would be to good players and superstars would be the great players, like the ones who are in the allstar game or who will be in the HOF.
