What does it take?
Well I was just thinking to myself, with the new supercollector forum thing opening up, what does it take to be considered a supercollector? quality, quantity, both? certain percentage? can someone give me a little more info

I would say it requires both quantity and quality in order to construct a well-rounded collection. Collecting is not only about autographs and game-used, as it also includes base, inserts, rookie cards, parallels, and numbered cards. So basically just a wide variety of cards from the player, as well as assorted non-card memorabilia.

my personal standards for supercollector are 5 autos, 10 gus, many base cards/inserts/rookies, but i guess its up for anyone to decide. theres no definition of a supercollector. all i know is i best beef up my al horford collection! :)

Umm. From my standpoint you have to have the best collection of that player. Having a couple autos and jerseys should not make you ANYWHERE NEAR a super collector. Example:
