Why do YOU watch American Idol?

Never watched it in my life, and never want to watch it. My mom also has never seen it, my dad hasn't seen it, and my fiance hasn't seen it. I know you are looking for people who have, but I think my immediate family might be the only one in the United States who has never seen it as a collective unit!

I watch it to see all the people that really can't sing. It is very funny to me. LOL

I watch it but only the auditions. I absolutely love the seeing the knobs that are terrible. The best are the ones that don't know they are and aren't just trying to get on TV. The trick is to DVR the show so you can fast forward through all of the fluff that takes up so much of the program. I think I watched what I needed in about 1 hour of a 2 hour show.

Once the main show starts I'm done with it.

I can't stand how once the show starts it's up to the public most of the time to decide who leaves. They always choose the pretty face over the talent..
