Remember the hype of these players? Their cards were so HOT at one time.
Dwight Gooden (altho not a complete bust, but drugs ruined his career or was it because someone hit him in the arm with a golf club? :P)
Vince Coleman (a great base stealing threat at one time, known for the golf club and firecracker incidents)

Hey now! I am a HUGE HUGE CFL fan...GO RIDERS! Gizmo could have played in the NFL. He chose to be a star in the CFL over a part timer in the NFL.

Did anyone else experience crazy price hikes on 1990 Leaf and 1991 Stadium Club packs at local card shops when they were new and red hot? I remember being a kid and seeing them sell for $20+ per pack and wondering what the big deal was.

The 1991 O-Pee-Chee Premier baseball packs were the same way around here.
