Actually, that's the reason players on terrible teams DON'T make it most of the time....

And yes, they do take into consideration how much of an impact you have on your team.

And yes, Rondo is extremely streaky. Watch some of the Celtics games....he'll play real good one game, then be ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE the next game.

BTW, Mo and Rondo have prettty much the same amount of rebounds. Rondo has more assists, Mo has more points. Rondo turns it over just a slight bit more than Mo.

Oh, and the fact that Mo can nail three's, and has a 94% FT is a lot better than Rondo's pathetic 60-something percentage from the FT line, lol.

but rondo has 3 HOF'ers on his team to get the scoring so he doesn't have to...

Caron Butler will probably make the team and they are horrible, so good players on bad teams make it, Butlers made it the last 2 years...

Rondo is still better because he has a ring :) yes, my bias has now kicked in :)

    Go figure....Mo got snubbed.

I guess being the main reason your team now has the best record in the NBA and you drop over 17 a game isn't good enough.

And that proves my point that being on a bad team will get you NOT at the All-Star game.

Al Jefferson should have been there, hands down.

West - Shaq, David West, Gasol, Dirk, Tony Parker, Chauncey, Brandon Roy

East - Jameer Nelson, Rashard Lewis, Pierce, Joe Johnson, Bosh, Harris, Granger

These are unofficial, since the "official" announcement comes in 40 minutes.

i'd ditch parker and billups for nash and deron williams and also gasol for jefferson in the west.
in the east i'd ditch lewis for vince carter but the rest are fine.

    Jameer Nelson over Mo?

Please. Call me biased all you want, but Nelson's numbers are practically identical to Mo's. And Nelson a little less PPG, and one more assist per game....yea, I'd hope so when you have Lewis AND Dwight Howard.

    My analysis in bold:

West - Shaq decent year, but should've been Al, David West what?!?, Gasol agree, but should've been Duncan, Dirk agree, Tony Parker sure, why not?, Chauncey absolutely, Brandon Roy yep

East - Jameer Nelson what the heck?, Rashard Lewis read for Jameer Nelson, Pierce yep, Joe Johnson yep, Bosh yep, Harris agree, Granger sure

They really flubbed up by not having Big Al on the roster - and Steve Nash is missing his first All Star game in 5 years, and this is in Phoenix
