You can't just look solely at stats. When Pau arrived on the Lakers, he instantly made them into a championship caliber team. What has Al Jefferson made the Timberwolves into, another lottery team?

Besides, when you have star players like Kobe, Bynum, Odom, plus many others, on your team it’s very difficult to average 20 pts and 10 rebs a game. Just look at Boston’s Big 3, when they came together, all their stats dropped too, but yet they are still considered to be all-stars.

well considering la has kobe and bynum (who i'd rather have in all-star game than pau) and also made them into a championship caliber team too...jefferson has nobody around him and they have the best record this month in the NBA, so they are starting to do alright now. and saying his stats dropped, no they really didn't...they went down 2 points and like 1 rebound...

    Jameer Nelson over Mo?

Please. Call me biased all you want, but Nelson's numbers are practically identical to Mo's. And Nelson a little less PPG, and one more assist per game....yea, I'd hope so when you have Lewis AND Dwight Howard.

Well at least Rondo didn't make it in.

Who are coaches this year? That is the answer.

Reggie Miller's exact words just a second ago...

"The coaches in the East should be shot for Mo Williams not being in the All-Star game."

    "Shot?"

    "Yes, shot."

Funny how all of the announcers so far have all agreed that Mo was the biggest snub of them all, but none of you agree with me. ;)

I agree with you. LBJ doesn't have to be a point forward anymore. Big plus for him so he can roam free now.

I think Pop is in the West....East will either be Mike Brown or Stan Van Gundy.

If the Cavs win tonight or tomorrow night, Mike Brown will be. If the Cavs lose both games, Van Gundy will be.

Can't be....I was under the impression that whoever was in the Finals the year before can't coach the All-Star game.

OK, you obviously haven't watched many Cavs games if you think Mo can't play defense. Mo plays MUCH better defense than Rondo does. Also, he has the best FG% of all PG's because he has wide open layups due to double teams on the guys on Boston who are actually threats. There's a reason teams let Rondo go around freely....b/c teams aren't worried about him. Wide open layups don't show that he's getting by defenders, because he isn't. Rondo tallies up a little more than one rebound a night, so don't bring that argument. The only thing Rondo has on Mo is assists. And if you put Mo on the Celtics, he'd have damn near 10 assists a night also.

Get Over it. AI is in the starting lineup, thats all that matters
