I'm not sure I'd call Wilcox "a much better player" than Chandler. Not necessarily a big difference as far as the talent, but someone who has the combination of athleticism and size of Chandler is much more rare.

I have not seen Wilcox enough to say he can't replace Chandler. It is just hard to get 7 footer who takes up space is all. We will see.

I've always like Wilcox. He's just a tad bit inconsistant though. That was Chandler's problem as well. But Wilcox can definitly be a double-double beast with a PG as good as Paul.

I am not worried about him putting up stats with Paul. I am more worried that he is not 7 feet tall and in the lane.

thats what im saying wilcox is a natural PF and if he moves to center he will have some trouble defending the bigger guys

No doubt Wilcox is a natural PF. Joe Smith and Hilton will split time at the 5 I would imagine.

I'd also add Melvin Ely to that list^^^

But the thing with Chris Wilcox is, he has a bigger body than Chandler and is stronger with his body than Chandler. I can't wait to see the Hornets, and also the Thunder, play with these new big changes in effect. I think this might be one of the rare times that the trade works out to be good for both teams.
