Rockets waive Luther Head
Head was a first round draft pick in 2005.
I'm sure someone will pick him up.

He has to clear waivers first, so whoever picks him up won't be able to have him on their playoff roster, as I believe the deadline to set playoff rosters is tomorrow.

One of my favorite Rockets...
He just never improved from his rookie season. Above-athletic ability could have helped him, but he never used it! He looked like a steal after his rookie season...

That's too bad for Luther Head. I know he was on the Team USA "B team" this summer, as one of the guys they were grooming for future Olympics. I think he is really talented, and someone will definitely pick him up.
