I think my previous post is relevant to the discussion.

How is the contradiction rationalized then in such a belief?

I don't want the simple "faith" answer. I just think its hypocritical that many religious/spiritual believers want science to address their questions in the sense of their religious/spiritual world - how about addressing scientific questions, on the same topic, in the sense of the scientific world then?

I dont ask science to prove my faith. I dont need it to.

Nothing needs to be rationalized. We believe whats in the Bible.

Truthfully, it is bad logic. It is a circular argument.

Yeah, it is a circular argument, i said that earlier.

So religion is debased of reason? The very foundation of rationalizing is, for the purposes of this discussion, to ascribe a belief/s into one's mindset as reasonable.

Well I gave you my belief. I believe it from the Bible. Some people think that is stupid and too far-fetched. IMO, there are a lot of religions that make no sense to me, but I'm well aware that mine sound funny to others too.

Most, if not all (I'm not a religion major or anything) religions are based on a higher power. Also, we have faith (I know you hate that word, but thats what it is) in that higher power, because we havent seen it personally. So we have no concrete evidence. Thats all been said. But if you dont find that reasonable then ok, thats fine. Some do though.
