My favorite IP autograph used to be Albert Pujols but yesterday It changed. Now It's Mark McGwire. i got his at the winter warm up. He only signed like 15. He also inscribed 538 career home runs on it.

Gregg Maddux, Tom Glavine & Gary Sheffield at 1997 NLDS on same ROMLB. Sheffield was with the Marlins that year and then joined the Braves 5 years later in 2002. Everyone says Gary is a jerk but he was extremely nice (much nicer than Maddux & Glavine but they got beat that night!) - very cool...

    Luis Gonzalez (DBacks)

In 2005, I had just graduated from Army AIT and the wifey and I were wanting to hit one DBacks game prior to moving to Germany for three years. I went online and bought tickets for 8/22 (Johnson pitching) but when I got them they were 8/23. I was furious but still, I had tickets to the last game I would attend for awhile. We always make gate opening to obtain signatures and when i walked in the gate, sure enough, Luis Gonzalez was signing. For those who don't know, Luis signs "Once every blue moon." I figured I hit the jackpot and didn't care who else was signing. I stood in line for 30 mins and was roughly 100+ people back from the table. The wife got a baseball signed for me and I took the 5x7 the stadium provided. We were two of the last people to make it through the line before he needed to warm up.

To this day, I cannot tell you who won the game or who pitched, but I got my favorite player's auto and I got to shake his hand.... that is good enough for me

Wow, and my nephew thought it was a "steal" to pay 40 bucks for JA Happ.
