I am not enough rich to compensate people that doesn't want to pay a fair price. So the overall product will lose 50% of its cash value on next year. $355 for Guy Lapointe is only related to product hype. Tell me who will pay that high on next year for Guy Lapointe (even if this card is a 1/1)?Last edited by roy.the.greatest; 04-08-2009 at 11:16 AM.

You're right about that one, I think. Chris Nilan too.... I think he's listed for more than $200, becuase he's an SP.
There are going to be set collectors, trying to get them all. That's going to drive the SP prices up like crazy right now. Once the hype is done, and the set builders have them..... whatever is left will go, I think, for substantially less.

The price per hobby box is $175 CDN before shipping and taxes. That is a lot but the SP autos price are crazy!
Steve Shutt SP auto will fetch more than $35 with all the set collectors competing for it. Over $100 for sure.

Given that the two Lapointes that went auction-style finished at $355 and $361, respectively, that's a pretty safe bet.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Richard,
Just curious if that seller came across with the Lapointe for you?

Hi guys,
I've got the Beliveau jersey. Part of my PC, havn't seen any on the 'bay, but i just signed up two weeks ago.. Any idea on what it's going for.
Bought one box and opened it with my son telling him all i want is the Beliveau cards. Talk about getting lucky.
Was thinking about moving it, and picking it up again at a later date (and hopefully the 1/2 value rule).
George
