Instead of baby powder, I use an art eraser and take the gloss off.

Tyson, I want to learn to make my own cards, but I don't have photoshop and don't know how to make a template. It is something I am highly intrested in learning though.

Tyson - What exactly is the process you use for this? (I've seen a few scans of your handy work around, and it looks pretty good, IMO).

I've been meaning to do this... make my own cards, for TTM autos.... but I think what been holding me back is figuring out how to start.

Deisigning them would be easy enough, but what kind of materials are you printing them on, and what sort of printer do you need to use? I would suspect that any inkjet printer would work..... it's the material you're printing on that I'm not sure about.

What about making your own? Would be very unique and 100% you. You could set it up how you want and put a blank spot for them to sign.

Instead of Photoshop you might want to look at Microsoft Publisher. You can create documents of any size and have the flexibility of adding photos, graphics, text, etc...

You can create a page template that would print several cards on one page.

It won't give you all of the features of Photoshop, but it is very easy to use and is pretty affordable.

I don't think the Parkhurst is really a good set to get signed. Quite a few cards have dark backgrounds (especially the black and white cards). A lot of the cards would get signed along the long edge of the card. Not aesthetically pleasant (IMO).

The Fleer GOTG are definitely the best ones - in the logo area on the bottom of the card. It kinda looks like it was actually designed for autos.

No joke, I've heard any set can be made auto friendly. For the ones with a glossy surface you just have to throw some baby powder on the front of the card.

Did anybody hear the website in the video (4:27) for pro athlete adresses? I can't hear it! Thanks!
