I just pulled one today and plan on holding onto it until playoffs. Mason in my mind already has the Calder trophy and if he can backstop Columbus into the 2nd round or possibly further into the playoffs it might even drive up his demand even more.

    Id sell before the playoffs
1 - Some judgement of him will be baised on Columbus' playoff preformance, and theyre not going far in the West
2 - Alot of goalies hit a sophmore slump
3 - Once more of his product is out, more people will have what they want of him, and less value is on the market

Never hold rookies as 95 percent of the time they will go down over the long haul. When they are hot ROY, Hardware trophy possibly, unload them and never look back.

Absolutely! Rookies are the stock market speculation of the hobby. You take a gamble on a player that he'll churn out the best GAA for the next 10 years, or has a 150 pts a season in that span. Has a spotless reputation!
Remember. Speculators buy in the now hoping to cash in down the road. That is your opportunity. If you keep the card, make it based on that you want it for your own personal gratification, and leave the money equation out of it. You have to assert your own value on it.

Since it's an SPA RC, I agree to move it while it's hot. However, I've been hanging on to few other Mason RCs with the thought that they will increase in value even more in another month or two especially if he wins the Calder.

I was thinking of holding onto my SPGU /10 and /999 rookies in hopes his prices go up. IS this a good idea or shoudl i just dump the /10 and hold on to the 999.

Hold on the Mason RCs #/99 (wait high-end products). Hold on his autographed 1/1 cards. Flip the rest.
