I'm not trying to jinx him, but man oh man, Kidd has a GREAT shot at breaking Scott Skiles mark of 30 assists in one game!
Oh, and Dallas is still whalloping Phoenix 81-59. I don't care who wins this game, but man, Kidd is putting on a show! You gotta applaud his performance!

Kidd won't break it he'll be out of the game in the 3rd if they keep it up, but with my Mavs they'll probably win by 5...If they can play that kind of team offense (granted it is the Suns defense) they can be dangerous...

Dallas up 114-84 after 3 quarters. Jason Kidd has 19 points and 20 assists - he is still on pace to break his own record of 25 assists in one game, but he'll have to have a bit of help to surpass 30 assists.

WOW i guess Dallas is showing them they dont stand a chance at making the playoffs so give up.
The Suns have set they need to dismantle that team, and ship Shaq out to a contender to finish his carear off with.

Dallas wins 140-116. Kidd didn't play in the 4th at all, so he finished with 19 pts and 20 asts.
Phoenix isn't mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, but being 4 games back, they are all but eliminated.

Unless the Mavs lose out and they win out, the Mavs could bump up to the 6 seed since they play Utah (7th seed and 1 game ahead of Mavs) then they play NO twice in 3 days (2 games ahead of Mavs) and if they can do that watch out...

If the Mavs get the Nuggets in the first round, they have a shot at moving to the second round - if they get the Lakers or Spurs, I doubt they stand a chance.

They can handle the Spurs, and possibly the Lakers, the Spurs are aging and the Mavs can deal with their style well, and every time they've played the Lakers they've been up the whole game until part way through the 4th and they just fell apart, so IF they can fix that, they COULD beat them, but I guess I'm just wishing...But if they sneak up to 6 or 7 they could do some damage if they get hot.
