    They can handle the Spurs, and possibly the Lakers, the Spurs are aging and the Mavs can deal with their style well, and every time they've played the Lakers they've been up the whole game until part way through the 4th and they just fell apart, so IF they can fix that, they COULD beat them, but I guess I'm just wishing...But if they sneak up to 6 or 7 they could do some damage if they get hot.

    Not singling you out, but everyone seems to underestimate the Spurs - the Spurs are one of the best teams to turn it on in the playoffs. They have a whole different sense of urgency, and their chemistry is second to none come playoff time.

    Man I really wish Kidd could pass up Stockton, but its going to be very hard.

    I doubt he'll be able to pass Stockton...he'd have to play for a minimum of 5 more years, averaging 10 assists per game over that timespan - tough, yes - impossible, no.
