    Things that are getting old

A few things that's I'm really tired of hearing in politics in no order

"Bush kept us safe after 9/11, there were no terror attacks"

YES there was, what do they call the anthrax sent throught the mail? that was AFTER 9/11 and second HOW do we know bush kept us safe? There is no proof that any terror attacks were planned or that bush stopped.

    "Change"
You can not claim to be the president of change and hire all the same old people in washington. You can not say your going to change washington then hire all the Clinton people

"Iraq is Bush war, Afgan is Obama"
How is afgan obama war? They were both started by Bush, he improved things in Iraq but let things fall apart in Afgan. So why is it the Obama war

"The world is a better place without Hussein"
HOW? IRan is in process of building a nuke and they don't have Hussein keeping them in check anymore. 4,000 Americans would still be alive. Maybe if we didn't use "false intel provided by a man paid millions to give it" we could have stopped Iran and North Korea from building bombs and maybe caught the ACTUAL person who attacked on 9/11

"Obama is weak and making America less safe"
He has talked about getting rid of nukes and guys like Newt, Limbaugh, Hannity etc. are attacking him for it. So they are saying Ronald R. was a weak president since he said the same thing?

    "it's the Bush economy"
No actually he made it worse but the start was in the clinton admin. They are the ones who allowed AIG and others to get to big to fail. Yes there was no oversight over the last 8 years which allowed guys like Madoff to run wild but it all started under Clinton..

I'm conservative, and Beck even gets on my nerves a tad. But NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING compares to Olbermann. Haha, that guy is the biggest lunatic in the world! lol.

"Iraq is Bush war, Afgan is Obama"

I believe that means it's Obamas war to win or lose whatever he chooses to do.

I don't have too much of an issue with most of it except for the world being safer without Saddam. I know that Saddam had what we could call a rivalry with Iran, and he would limit their advances somewhat, but the citizens of Iraq lived in government oppression which included the experimentation of biological warfare on his own people. One less tyrant leads to a safer world in my eyes.

How is afgan obama war? They were both started by Bush, he improved things in Iraq but let things fall apart in Afgan. So why is it the Obama war

For 3 or 4 yeard before Mr Obama was elected there was a group who protested every Saturday afternoon on a main road next to a park on Cape Cod.

They were a ragtag group of hippies, trust fund babies and their children.

The would hold signs like "Bush Lied. People Died", "Impeach Buch", "Out of Iraq and Afghanistan" and the like. They would have guitars and drums and some were dancing around and some were holding signs and some were just yelling at passing cars.

So you would think that these people are fighting for a cause, right?

Well I have gone past there the last 4 Saturdays and there has only been 1 person there.

He is fighting for what he believes. He holds a sign saying "US out of IRAQ and Afghanistan"

Where are the rest of these clowns? They were the kool-aid drinkers who helped Obama get elected.

Yeah, as if 9/11 itself doesn't count.

For that matter, I almost had my car stolen in January 2007, but then I crammed a G.I. Joe action figure up my colon and just left it there for 26 months, and nobody else has tried to steal my car since then, so that must mean the G.I. Joe is what's stopping them!

If by world you mean Iraq? Hussein posed no threat to the world he had no WMD no matter how many times Bush/Cheney told us he did. And there are a LOT worse goverments out there then him so why did we single him out? Guess if the Sudan or Samalia had oil we would have invaded them.

What it comes down to was

Was removing Hussein worth almost 5,000 American lives (and tens of thousands injured) and loss of up to 100,000 Iraqi lives worth it? What about all the terrorists we created in Iraq and elsewhere by invading? So was it worth it NO..

and Bush screwed up Afgan so it's Obama mess to clean up and if he doesn't he lost the war
Ask the Soviet Union how easy it is to fight in Afgan. If it had been done right instead of going after hussein Bin Laden would be dead and NO ONE would have to clean up the mess..
