I'm new to the emailing, how do you guys find the email addresses usually? I know its not too big anymore, but it's always good to try. Thanks!

Go to the TTM database and look at the recent success. If you see 0/1 for items sent and gotten then it is probably a pretty good bet that it was an email success.

You can always google people to see if they have a website.

    Hope this helps.

Actually, the number that you should be looking for is "1/0" (one success from no items sent). Since I started collecting this way about 13 months ago, I've received over 400 items just from e-mail and web-site contact boxes.

What items have been your favorite?

I'm surprised more people don't do this!

BASEBALL, BASKETBALL, AND FOOTBALL: Most of what I've received are coaches at the college level (you should check to see if any of your favorites is listed). However, I've also gotten Troy Aikman, Tony Dungy, and Y.A. Tittle.
HOCKEY AND OTHER SPORTS: Some of the more well-known athletes that I've gotten are Mike Eruzione, Kim Clijsters, Nastia Liukin, Lee Westwood, Usain Bolt, Paula Cramer, Alissa Czisny, Kristi Yamaguchi, Brian Boitano, Ernie Els, Peggy Fleming, Greg Norman, Beatriz Recari, Annika Sorenstam, and Gary Player.
NON-SPORT: A little of everything, including Tony Blair, Joe Lieberman, and Condoleezza Rice.

You're right "1/0", my favorite ones so far have been Ben Crenshaw, (he asks for it to be mailed now), Hamilton Laird (Surfer, he's on a huge wave), and Condredge Holloway, (Tennessee great!)

FYI Mack Brown's are typically pre-printed with a secretarial inscription. Still nice, especially if you get the card sheets!
