    Thoughts on THIS patch

    Seems like an epidemic lately. Saw this Datsyuk quad patch card on eBay and was immediately drawn by the sick looking patches. On closer inspection it looks like there are tears between the numbers.

    Here it is, all you junior Columbo's (sorry, dated reference)... I mean ...CSI specialists.

    There are definitely little marks on the edges of the letters/numbers there. It could well be a function of thick patches/seams, as those whites look like they're bursting out of the window. Or it could be some form of nefarious cheating.

    To me this looks bad, but I haven't bought any OPC Premier, so I dont know how high end the patches are.

    If it is legit, the seller should say that there are creases around the swatches. So either he is plain old dishonest or a patch faker. I'm leaning toward the latter. I'd stay away.

    They put some pretty sick patches in there I dont think they are fake but the damage should definetly be mentioned in the listing. These are some lidstrom patches I was bidding on.

    ALl of the quad patches from opc premier that i have seen have the creases, sucks but stilll nice looking cards.

    I dont think its a fake. Just bad quality control. I have seen a ton of these OPC Premier quad patches with the exact same stress creases (at least thats what I'd call them lol)

    Nice card though
