The Z from that same set sold for $165 on ebay, so im not sure where you get 40-60 from bud. And yes the Dirk is gameworn.

And I already told him I wasnt in a hurry to trade, to make a thread and think about it. so make up your own conclusions here boys. I guess im trying to rip him off lol, love when people make stupid comments when they have no idea who/what they are talking about

Your saying im making a stupid comment? Why are you trying to rip off a fellow member. I mean the Dirk is nice but no way sells for 165 and that Stuckey you can pick up cheap all day long. Trust me I use to collect Stuckey Auto's This is one reason why I dont trade as much as I use to on this site. Everyone treats me like im a kid and dont know what Im talking about. And by the way everyone seems to be agreeing that it is a bad trade you dont need to go to another site to prove that.

I think he's saying that because thats what everybody is saying the Dirk will go for, is $80. I seriously just think that Dirk was a fluke, and was probably bought buy a huge Dirk Collector, who is willing to pay more for the card. thanx

Very well put, especially the end. If nobody likes the trade on here, i doubt they do on another site. unless you have your buddies on that site, who are most likely going to agree with you. I wouldnt do the deal unless your looking to keep the Dirk. thanx

here is my 700 year old basketball knowledge. i own over 1 billion in sv in bball cards.

its a Z and an N. its not the same. z is a rarer letter. not alot of players have a z in there name. people dont always buy letters for the players name. they like to spell there own name and what not. the z is rarer than n. so its not the same

I did not do any research on the values (book or sale values) of the cards being proposed traded.

With that being said, based on my face value, I would prefer Side B of this trade.

I don't know how much more would need to be added on Side A, to make it equitable. I will leave that up to you 2 to discuss in further detail.

    Good Luck and Happy Trading

    PS
I agree with Notoriousek. I don't think there is a need for additonal comments about whether this trade would be a rip-off one way or the other.

I applaud both of these traders for opening up the discussion and receiving "constructive" input from other members. If more traders did this, it might eliminate anyone feeling slighted or ripped off.

This might be a good suggestion, for this sight to have a forum where traders could post potential trades (if they are doubting whether they should make a trade or not) to have "constructive" input from other members. Although this might slow some trades, at least it might potentially eliminate or reduce any hard feelings after a trade is made. It might make this trading community even stronger by having it.

i don't know man....like i said....i don't like the way the trade looks, but if you can sell the card for 165 like you said, then for your sake, sell it and just buy those cards that you want if you think you can get them for a better deal that way

if i collected dirk i would go with A just because of how rare it is. side B would have a better sv in the future and there is alot of room for improvement. i did see that dirk that went for $165 but if i were you i wouldn't trade for it solely based off of that. the majority of the teens that i've seen this site are pretty knowledgable about what they collect so i really dont understand the bashing. if you didn't want to hear there answers you shouldn't have asked the question.

The "n" is a more rarer letter....has nothing to do with the "z" being a rare letter.....it is the 6th letter out of 8 in Nowitzki...notriousek has the first letter #'d 1/8...All he is refering to is that it is the very first letter in his last name.......Iti s a great offer but in my opinion I would do side B....Nice autos and the Mayo and the other ones would be an awesome lot to have BUT is all depends if both sides are happen with what they are getting in trade and NOT worry about sale value..
