That whole incident was so overblown, the media made it into something that it wasn't. The first time the crowd booed was not in response to the anthem, but the fact that Chara was being shown on the jumbotron.

Well it's not like they got cheered right out of the building, there was a distinct mix of cheers and boo's if I recall correctly. When I made that comment I was referring to the section my sister was sitting in, at the very least. Chara was showed on the jumbotron, they booed, the anthem started and the rest is history. It's not hard to understand how the whole thing could of been interpreted wrong, there are jerks in every arena.

The media made it sound like there was 20,000 disrespectful morons, which is off by a mile.
