I think it's time for Montreal to get back to "Their" game and stop with all this foolishness. Montreal is not a physical, not a tough team. Why are they trying to play that type of game? It didn't work in game 1, it didn't work in game 2... if it keeps up, it won't work in game 3 or 4 either. And all this fashwashing is making me sick, and Mike Komisarek is really disappointing me now. He has done it to Hunwick, he's doing it to Lucic... take off your **** glove. Can you imagine that this guy was on TSN's Greatest Montreal Team of All Time? Playing like this? Come on!

As for Lucic and the suspension... I'm going to say one game... it probably would be more, but I think that in the hearing, Lucic will claim he was trying to protect himself since LaPierre has been going after anyone he can get his hands on.

I think 3 games will be given. By the time he comes back series will be over and the no chance of retaliation.

If they didn't suspend Lapierre or whoever it was that had the flying elbow at the end of game one then they better not suspend Lucic for protecting a second guy coming at him from his blindside!

Elbow and Stick are two different things imo.

Protecting yourself one thing using the stick to someone grill that not protection that is assault with a weapon. Where do you draw the line?

I think what you said above in your quote will be looked at and taken into consideration for the length of suspension if any. I think the NHL and Bettman might send a message of some stature (small or big). We shall see.

Are you serious? Please take off the gold and black glasses.

That alleged flying elbow didn't even touch Hunswick! It was shown on the replay many times, not to mention it didn't even catch the attention of the league. I can't believe Boston fans are crying over something that almost happened. Yeah I said it, not going to deny that Kostopolous was trying to elbow him there, but the fact is he didn't actually make contact. You're comparing that to a blatant cross-check to the head, that's apples and oranges son.

Protecting? Pffft. Give me a break, Lucic just cross-checked Schneider twice, seconds prior to the cross-check to the face of Lapierre (who was coming to the aid of his teammate).

Lucic should get at least 2-3 games, but knowing how the league works, he'll probably get a basket of banana's and a bottle of champagne.

Yes, I'm glad he got 1 game. Much deserved. One game is enough for what he did, it could have been worse for him.
