Well Mutombo's career is officially over..He tore ligaments in his knee that will require surgery. He said after the game...That's it!..This is going to hurt the Rockets depth bad...they do not have another true center to come off the bench.

That's a shame about Mutombo..to end his career on that note. I think he was the only active player left born in the 1960s. Great career though - but yeah, the Rockets don't have any players over 6'9" left now besides Yao.
I didn't really get to see this one, but it looks like Brandon Roy (42 points!) and LaMarcus Aldridge (27 and 12 boards) were too much for the Rockets tonight. Also, I noted Shane Battier took only two shots in 33 minutes, and Yao just had six in 31. They Rockets will need more output from them next game.

Brandon Roy can probably do that when he wants to, but the outburst by Aldrige was totaly unexpected. If he has another game like this one I'll be suprised. Not to sound like a homer, but i think there was a little home jobn' going on there in the 4th qtr..Home Cookin'..I predict a couple of blowouts in Houston.

This was a much-needed win for the Blazers...it was a tie game after 3 quarters, and the Blazers had just enough to eek out a win.
That's really too bad about Mutumbo - Yahoo article says that he was in tears because of his career coming to an end...but he was grateful for 18 years.
