It appears Gainey rather lose with Price than win with Halak. It's been like this since he took over. Price has the worst numbers of any goalie in the playoffs who has played more than 1 game.

Honestly, those numbers mean jack all... He's let in his few soft goals but for the most part he's made some great saves at key times and the team just can't get it done. For periods of time we couldn't forecheck, we couldn't make a breakout pass for our lives and we're still having trouble scoring with all the **** injuries.

Having said that, I was looking forward to seeing Halak in nets tonight but it appears Bob Gainey is going to live and die by his golden boy, unfortunately.
