I say if you do the crime, do the time. You knew the risk and if the guard knows that you gave her fake names she'll probably come after you. I'm not sure how large your school is but if she's seen you a lot she'll more than likely remember your face.

Also, why would you put your honest friend in the situation where he has to do take his punishment and then lie on top of that to save your butt? To me that's not really a good friend thing to do.

If you continue to do stuff like this, i can see a serious problem in the near future with bigger authorities. Just don't say anything unless they confront you

HAHAHA!!! you sound like a psych
but its nots bashing you buddy....i just got a laugh!!!! But i do agree...dont fool around in school if it will mean you losing lunch out

Lunch is not big of a deal. You can live without going out for lunch. maybe a friend can bring you something

do what I would do...BS your way out of it. say that you never did that and you have no clue what hes talking about...if they pull out hard proof and you actually see it, take a deep sigh and admit it. I find that rules like that are pointless. we have a rule like that at my school too but only freshman and sophomores have to stay on campus. as a frosh i went off a crap load. got caught once and told him i was a junior but i lost my ID. gave him a fake name and got away with it. i know honesty is best but really lying is more fun

Let's see the asst. principle in charge of discipline will call your buddy in. Within five minutes he'll roll over on you and then drop a dime on you and your buddy. Now you and your other buddy will face consequences much larger than leaving for lunch.

I would say that it is only a matter of time before they put pressure on your friend and like Alpine said, he will roll over like a cat that wants his/her belly scratched. I have had a few people roll over on me back in school for some stupid stuff, always happens when the heat gets turned on. Just be ready to explain yourself.
