I'm a student at PSU, and live in State College.. the things I see people, especially students, doing while driving around here, I can't help but laugh. It's so sad that it's funny.

i text when i drive, well kinda, i only do it when i'm at a redlight, since i'm not actually driving, its safe..lol
i do talk on the phone, i put it on speaker, so its not in my hands

Yeah i text when i'm at a redlight and when it's green i put it down.
I use my headset when i talk on the phone so its not that bad.

Wow that was blatant disregard on the part of the driver.
I don't text at all when I'm driving, but I do make/take calls some times. As has been said, I largely only do it at a stop/red light or in light traffic. Many times I have my phone on silent as well.
I think the main problem, first and foremost, is that a lot of people in general are not good drivers any way.

Quote for truth. I am not a horrific driver, but I am pretty average, and that isn't saying much.
I don't even really talk to any car passengers that often either because I need to focus on the road as much as possible. I am a horriffic multi-tasker, so cell phones and texting are off-limits.

i am an amazing driver i cannot lie :)
i multi task great though, but i am ADD and often zone out while driving, i sometimes question weather i just ran a redlight or not because i zoned out that bad..lol
