No, I'm not. I have watched tons, TONS of movies...with most people, for everyone movie they can name that I haven't seen, I can name two or three they haven't...I consider myself a movie buff (and a movie snob, as Rockman called it), but there are a certain few that everyone has seen that I have not. The Terminators are some, also I've never seen Titanic.

With the Terminators, they always looked cool, but I've never been a fan of Ahnold, so they weren't hugely appealing to me. The first one came out when I was really young and my parents didn't want to see it, so I never got to. Then the second one came out and I didn't want to watch it before the first...but I still never got around to it. Then along comes 3 and it's to the point that I don't even really care to see the first one now.

They've always been on my list to watch, but there are so many other movies ahead of it on the list.

    *Revokes OPT buff/snob pass.*

yeah but that isn't saying too much. The Terminator series is a 'guy's movie' genre, if you look at the review the percentage went down because every female critic didn't like it. Are we really going to take into account their reviews when they also rated 17 Again with Zac Efron (55%) and Every Little Step (documentary on Broadway performers) (88%) as some of their higher rated films so far this year?

Come on, you know that's a lame excuse. T1 has 100%, T2 has 98%, and T3 has 70%. It has nothing to do with "guy movie" or "girl movie". I looked at the reviews and I saw just as many (percentage wise) females like the movie as males, however that isn't saying much, because not many liked it. 17 Again, and Every Little Step probably got betting reviews, because...wait for it.... wait for it.... they are better movies. (o.k maybe not 17 again, I haven't seen it. Every time I see Zac Efron I think he is about to cry)

The problem with movies like T4 is they sacrafice story for big splashy action and CGI sequences, which is fine, as long as you have a story to go along with it. That's why Action movies with a story like Dark Knight, Iron Man, Spiderman (Minus 3), Die Hard 1, are so special. Because they don't sacrifice story for junk explosions.

Critics are bashing the new film but I do not care. I'll still see it and hope for a solid popcorn flick loyal to Terminator fans.

As far as Christian Bale movies, he is never the weak link in movies, but that's not to say he hasn't done bad ones. My problem with Terminator isn't the cast. You have a one trick pony director, with two screenwriters who I don't think are good, paired with rookie producers. It just doesn't sound like a winning combination.

Well, I'll be the first to admit I got something wrong....

Christian Bale has now officially been the weak link in a movie.

well, i saw it today and i thought it was pretty good.

Christian Bale did just fine as John Connor...rockman is just a movie snob!

and if this is a spoiler....too bad.....but i wasn't expecting to see Arnie, yet sure enough there he was....looking just like he did in 1984...for just using his face image from terminator 1 on somebody elses body, they made it look pretty convincing to me

it was to be in one of the scenes when she was in the rain with Marcus. Cross our fingers it will be in the extras or deleted scenes of the DVD
