I was once shipped some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Movie cards.... as well as a scratch-n-play Pacman card circa 1980! Random, but kinda cool.

I have the best shipping "method" story.
I won 4 large player lots. Lemieux, Yzerman, Jagr and Kovalchuk. I asked he take care in shipping. He said he would. Well...he put them in an old box that once held a cars alternator, yes an alternator. No, penny sleeves no nothing. The only "protection" that was included was a couple grocery bags to keep them from moving around in the box. Needless to say the grocery bags failed and half the cards were dinged up to no end.
If he would have shelled out $0.79 for a normal card box, all would have been good.
(Oh, the alternator was for a Mercedez. He could afford a Mercedez but not a card box)

To start off I only collect hockey cards. I once made a trade for a few cards and while I got them, I also got a 25-count tin full of "A Piece of History" baseball cards including cards recognizing historical moments in history (Declaration of Independance, Benjamin Fraklin, etc.) The funnier part is that the cards in the tin were seperate from my cards...which would have been a been costly for shipping.
I thought penguinfanatic's experience with the picture frame was hillarious. But yours my friend is a classic story!

I might have got a partial refund. I don't remember. I should have left neg feedback but didn't want to.
I take great pride in making sure my packages go out almost "bomb proof" I'd rather spend a couple extra cents on packaging then to risk a negative feedback.
