Shaq IS NOT the greatest center ever. That would be Bill Russell. Also, I'm an LSU fan.
Yes, though, I agree he is a great player to collect.

Yo son how can you say that ?? aren't you young like me ?? you never even got to see him play . SHAQ is the most dominant player in NBA histoyr 7 foot 300 plus pounds , unstoppable . Honestly what competition did bill russell play in , a whole bunch of softees . you think he would be able to do that now ?? let alone in the 90's when the nba had its best centers . HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NOOOO .

The same reason why I believe Joe Montana is better than Dan Marino. Championships speak for themselves. Russell had 11.

Horry has 7 championships

I agree, he is the best in the modern era, but best all-time he is not.
I never said that. What I meant was that championships are very important. They are what every player works for, so if a player never wins 11, it's a testiment to his dominance. Shaq only has 3 so far. I was merely pointing out how Russell dominated .

Ah, the infamous ring/player/era debate, lol. You guys can start that over on the generalized basketball chat forum since it's admittedly veering off from gladdy's player collection:
