Best: Topps Hardwood
Worst: Topps T-51 Murad
In Hardwood, it was a new, unique product that provided some incredible cards, including pieces of patches and jerseys that were signed and are some of the best-looking auto/material cards made by Topps all season long. They also had some very low-#'ed cards in the set. Plus the RCs were very nice, especially if you like to get cards signed IP or TTM--they were perfect.
I guess that I am one of the few, or maybe the only one, that absolutely hated Murad and have not picked up a single Murad card, even to hold/look at at a shop so far. From all that I have seen I've just hated the product completely. It looks like the cards were painted on with water-color paints and the crap with the flags in the background of every card just does not fly with me. IMO, the product was TOTAL CRAP! lol

Wow... I'm the lone person who likes Topps Signature. I enjoy the simple design and the chance to collect a set that includes autographs of some amazing players and legends of the game. I know that the sticker autos stink... and who really needs 6,225 autographs of Nick Young or Yi Jianlian.
By the way... I also liked the Topps Murad and Treasury products. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't love them and none of these products are anywhere near my all-time favorites... but I enjoyed them nonetheless.
Sorry... no vote on the worst, since I didn't break any of the other Topps product from 08/09.

Best: Bowman
-Firstly it's a rookie set and as far as I know there were no auto. redemptions.
Worst: Topps Signature
- Good idea on holding all those Spud Webb & Isiah Thomas autos from this set, Topps! And then sending them all out as B.S. CRAP replacement cards. Way to show you care! Take this half-@$$ set thrown together and shove it.

So that's why it was so difficult for me to get a Thomas and Webb auto for my set. That is kind of shady.

I think topps signature has a nice clean design, but prices per pack/box was crazy. I bought 3 boxes & a few loose packs. I liked it, except thinking about those 6K+ YI's. the numbering is crazy too. They numbered the set by players initials instead of numbers, so if they were not able to get somebody's signature, they can leave it out of the set.
The stickers sucked!! especially, when they ran out of the clear stickers, they went to colored. If a company makes an autograph set or uses stickers... why would they use two different color stickers... unless it had a parallel set to go with the base autos.
The prices of these cards have dropped dramatically online. I picked up a auto lot for dirt cheap. thinking about throwing the set to gether, if I can trade for them. anybody want 12 Yi for a Spud Webb?
Didn't really care for TOPPS in 08-09.
For 09-10 season.. BOWMAN 48 is pretty cool. simple design. just didn't like the idea that you can almost see through the packs. I wonder if my local card shop owner will let me take a LED MAG LIGHT to help me pick packs?? Don't think he'll let me, he has to be an honest shop owner to keep business. that's why I keep going back to him.
