    Actor David Carradine found dead

    Actor David Carradine found dead

American actor David Carradine has been found dead in a Bangkok, Thailand, hotel, according to his personal manager, Chuck Binder.

Binder said Thursday that the death is being investigated but could provide no other details...

...Carradine, who became famous in the 1970s when he starred as traveling Shaolin monk Kwai Chang Caine in the television series "Kung Fu," was 72.

Modern audiences may best know him as "Bill" in Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" films. He earned a 2005 Golden Globe nomination for his role in the second movie in the two-part saga.

I always liked him...I was too young for Kung Fu, but I enjoyed Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. And of course he later became Bill...gotta love that.

Yikes, I hadn't heard that. Obviously I know very little about the guy, but I wonder what would make him go to those lengths. I don't understand suicide at all, but especially not by hanging...

That is pretty sad. I wonder what triggered it on him to commit suicide. His family and friends are talking about he was not that kind of person.

R.I.P. The original "Kung Fu" tv series was a little ahead of my time, but did remember him from "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues" tv series and of course, the "Kill Bill" movies.
