Question:Why does everyone bash the Ducks?
In almost every thread everyone bashes the Ducks, i was just wondering why everyone hates them so much. And PLEASE DO NOT CALL THEM THE SUCKS in this thread or be disrespectful i call your team by the proper name and have respect for your team. i expect the same respect thanks.

you can see for yourself if you ever watch them. First off they have Chris Pronger...voted dirtiest player in the league by his peers. They consistently have one of the highest avg penalty minutes and fighting majors in the league. They very often play games where they take 100 minutes in penalties and get called for maybe 14-20. They do stuff like start big brawls at the end of the game when its over so they rack up tons of penalty minutes and fighting majors, but none of it matters because the game is over (game 6 wings vs ducks). They go after injured players constantly. Just about everyone on that team fights...wheras the wings and a lot of other teams only have a few fighters. I could go on...but I'll just stop there

its one of the toughest teams to play against, so everyone not a duck hates them

answer: they're the sucks. the ONLY team i hate more than the ducks is the sharks. ducks are a very dirty team. the ONLY duck i have a bit of respect for is getzlaf

The person who started this thread specifically asked that you respect them and the Ducks by not calling them that. But noooo you have to go and disrespect those wishes.
Back to the question. You ask why everyone hates the ducks. Most respond by saying they are the dirtiest team in the majors,taking lots of penalties and penalty minutes. Lots of fights during the game and after the final horn.
Sounds alot like the Broad Street Bullies I use to like them along with many others. Maybe I should have a closer look at the ducks. Maybe a new team to cheer for

I really do not think everyone hates the Ducks, they have a lot of talent on that team and almost put Detroit out.. Love that Getzlaf kid...

Personally, I wouldnt hate them if I wasnt such a sharks fan but if your team is my teams rival, chances are Im not going to like that team...

I hate the "dirty" aspect of the ducks. Plus the fact that they always manage to have the biggest goalie with the biggest equipment in the league. Also I personally think chris pronger stinks and wouldnt even be in the NHL if he was 5 inches shorter.
Aside from that Getzlaf, Perry, and Selanne have good talent. Getzlaf and Perry make a good tandem and score a ton of big goals. I love how getzlaf has size, strength, and great hands to go with it. He's a west coast MULE.

i apologize for calling them the sucks. but seriously i have zero respect for the ducks as a team. they really are the dirtiest team in the league. getzlaf though....kids insane. only duck i respect
