I love Star Wars.
My little fella is 8 and my little girl is 6. We watch at least one Star Wars movie a week!
I watched the press conference this morning. A lot of interesting points came out of it.
Here's the biggest one. No matter if Jim Balsillie wanted to pay 400 million for the Coyotes, if another group comes along and is willing to keep them in Phoenix (for whatever cost/price) then that group would get the franchise and not Balsillie. The NHL can kiss my ask me later!
Balsillie's group should have never put that timeline on the motion. That's what squashed the file, and that's why Balsillie's group now says September is the next cut off date (poor use of words by me there).
I can understand why Balsillie wanted the team sold to him soonest. He doesn't what the Yotes management at the draft, and can you blame him? That's the number one reason why they failed in Phoenix. You have to have a winner to make money.......cough cough Save Our Jets!!
