Rude Traders

Just wanted to share my 2 cent on my trading experience on this site so far. I've been trading for over 18 years now and just wanted to address some things that I’ve notice. There been numerous times where I had to overpaid to get a certain card and there been times where I loss out on a card by other people who overpaid. A card is only worth what people are willing to pay, supply and demand. If someone owns a card(s) he/she has the right to asked for whatever they want within reason and if u think differently then it ok to negotiate and if even after you make your best offer and it doesn’t work out then just say something like “I’ll pass” or “No thank you”. Just because someone owns a card of a certain player that you happen to have a PC of doesn’t mean you are entitled to that card, you can’t have them all. Don’t take the low route by insulting another person left and right just because you don’t see eye to eye, that gets you no where. Card collecting is a hobby and supposes to be fun, no reason to ruin it for others by insulting others, have respect. All in all this is a great site, the people running this site are great and have created a great place for people to trade safely compared to other sites I have been on. Thank you for your time.

People need to understand if they can't take a little hostility online over trading/selling baseball cards they need to just turn the computer off. When people posted on my thread before you hijacked it with your useless post I posted looking at EBAY values to base my prices on not Beckett prices in which those are useless, throw them out my bathroom window while I'm taking a crap because all those magazines are useful for are toilet paper. People can't take a little guff when I offer them realistic prices for their cards. Maybe they need to do a little reading before posting and they wouldn't run into little arguments. It really kills me people get their feelings off their chest by posting a useless rant on a forum for other people to read. Yes there are rude people in this world and I'm not ashamed to be one. I hardly frequent this site anymore as it is way too hard to get a fair deal where both people are happy unless you are trading brown crap for green crap type stuff. Oh sorry for my rant, lemme get back to my toaster strudel

hey bro, this post is not for dropping names, where u do see any names???? just saying the same thing u are saying in the sense that I have a set price in my head on what I want to sell my card for and if u dont like it then fine u dont have to buy vise versa if I offer u a price for your card and if you dont want it then dont sell it to me move on with your life. trading is not a full time job for me too but for those people who go around pm other with insults trying to put people down, get a life

Wow, this is quite possibly the worst thread I have read in a while. Its quite difficult to understand the original post. No need for grammar, or sentences with any form or meaning though I suppose

I think the original poster was trying to say this...

I have a card you want...my price is this
If that is too much in your opinion, offer me what you are willing to pay
If i turn it down, don't call me all the names you can think of that are unprintable here, just accept it, say thanks but no thanks and move on

There is no need for insults or the like on this site
Have fun, collect what you can and forget about what you can't.

So, we only rant like this when it happens to us hmm? Where was this post when it wasn't happening to you?

It doesn't matter if you are insulted, it only matters that you act in a manner you see as respectful - if you take online discussions about a hobby seriously enough to be offended by them, you need to re-evaluate yourself before lecturing others. Threads like this are only compounding the negativity.
