If the Isles are looking for the truly best player in the draft, I firmly believe that Duchene is that guy. He can score a ton of goals and play the PK and has just an insane hockey IQ and IQ in general. I will keep saying until proved otherwise, I think Duchene is better than tavares

as much as i feel that duchene is the most complete player in the draft i would rather have tavares. i would rather have a dany heatley(minus this year) at around 50 goals and 40 assists a year as opposed to mike richards who has 30 goals and 50 assists. pure natural goal scorers are very hard to come by.

i see tavares as a guy who will play like stamkos in the 1st half of the season next year but not turn it around. I think duchene has the ability to put up 40 goals ala Zack Parise and play the PK.

that is your opinion and you are entitled to it but Garth Snow came out and SAID that duchene was in the mix. I can honestly see him going number and Hedman go 2 to Tampa and Tavares to colorado. i mean it may not be the likely way it happens but it CAN happen if the Isles think that Duchene is their guy

the islanders did have tavares, hedman and duchene in long island over the last two weeks. they would invite all three just incase. the islanders may be sold on tavares but say the lightning or avalanche want tavares and they offer #2 or #3 and a first next year or a good prospect or a player the the islanders will take it.

I think Buffalo takes Ryan Ellis. They have a few good defencemen in the system, and Ellis will be the cream of the crop of that core. That group also includes 6"6 Tyler Myers who would be the perfect defence partner for Ellis. They will have the skilled puck mover paired with the big tower.

Plus, the Sabres #1 dman right now is Spacek, not exactly suitable for that role in the future.

None!! Atleast i can say i've been collecting him for 2 years now... All i have is of his midget aaa team!!!
