pod-i think the nfirst was a 1995 or 97 hockey set. not sure though.

the first gu baseball I think was in '98 or '99. Upper Deck is the one who started this whole mess.

I'm pretty sure it was 1997 UD, Tony Gwynn was in it I remember.

I just looked it up on beckett and there was a '97 Gwynn.
My mistake. The thing books for $50. You would be hard pressed to find a GU that is not serial numbered or have 2 or 3 different colors that goes for that much now.

Football started in 1996 with 2 companies I believe....Upper Deck Jerseys and Collectors Edge Advantage GU Ball cards.
