    first hobby box was a 2003 bowman dont remember the hits or anything but i remember going through it later and finding 2 romos that sold pretty well lol

    My first box was 1992 Donruss baseball from Sam's Club (i was 9). I had been begging my parents for it for months. So they finally took me up to Miami (from the FL Keys where I grew up) to get it. I pulled a Cal Ripken Eite card /10,000 and a Griffey Diamond King! Back then the Ripken booked at like 250 or something. I just remember going crazy in my parents car when I pulled it. I wish collecting was still like it was back then! Pulling a card #d /10000 was a HUGE hit then. Now we pull a card /10 and its not that big of a deal....
