I voted no, i just think its to hard to do, Kobe put a show on to get his 80+ but i feel thats as far as someone will get

Wilt did it in 1962. I looked up the score, and it was 169-147. Game scores don't come close to those numbers even in overtimes. New York's starting center was out that night, and in an era where big men ruled the court, it was the perfect storm for Wilt. I agree with Khendra. Different era with a different level of play. It's clear that Kobe's 81 is something special, but he still needed another 19 points. Kobe played 42 minutes that game. He averaged like 1.7 points per minute. He would need a double overtime with the same level of play to reach 100.

Very small chance but there is always a chance for everything. Most records in the NBA have better chance of being broken then some of the insane records in MLB or the NHL
