    Ouch, that sucks to hear. I'm pretty sure Topps could care less knowing that they won't be producing NBA basketball cards for the next couple of years and trying to get rid of their inventory with those replacements. But yeah, do contact the BBB, hopefully, it'll wake them up and do something about it.

    If I remember correctly, UD/Topps have something like, "if the card is not available, it will be replaced with a card they deem to be of equal value." The last part is egregious, but it is right in front of our eyes, yet people still buy packs.

    And if one goes into the redemption process expecting consistently excellent business, the person is either a newbie or naive.

    Topps and Upper Deck both suck. People are butthurt that the familiarity of the companies is going away as far as licensed products, so they immediately discount Panini because they are supposedly "new" and unproven, though they have been in the business a long time. So far, Panini has already outperformed these companies in CS and quality. But there will still be people in denial because they were comfortable with the crap that is Topps and UD.
