What to collect???
Hey Guys/Gals,
Saw the COTM poll and noticed that some of the cards that come from Racing products are REALLY NICE. My question is that I may dabble in a little racing and I was wondering since I am "racing stupid" what is the best way to figure out who you should collect?
I was originally thinking since I am from Massachusetts that there was a reasonably inexpensive person to collect that may be from Mass?
Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this, LMK what you think!

Thanks for the response John, I will keep that in mind. Honestly I don't know how I might choose who to collect as I would be new to this....

To be 100% honest...... Collect the driver who sparks ya the most. I am and always be a huge Ryan Newman fan. I love the designs more and more each year. Busting can be great and go to Target and look for the pit stop boxes. Sometimes you can get a great hit for minimal spendage and you may even get to trade for someone you do like. But like what was mentioned earlier by another poster. Logano is big and from Conn.

Roger, welcome to the dark side! haha or the good side, whatever you'd like to call it. I started collecting a year ago, and just picked a random guy that I thought seemed like one of the cool guys you'd like to hang out with. I picked up a rookie that I could follow and have a fresh start on collecting. Of course that guy has a TON of media around him since he was 15 haha. Not sure of many guys from Mass. But Logano is from Conn., young but expensive.

I'd say just watch some races and pick a driver you like, also watch the lower series, it is great to pick an up and comer that has a just a few out instead of the Thousands of Jr.'s and Gordons etc. and just start buying or trading for a few here and there and watch your collection grow as he gets more out. To me it's kind of col to collect an up and comer because it's easier and cheaper to get his cards.
