Will you be missing Topps and Upper Deck?
Personally, I won't. I think both of them showed their true colors this year. Delayed releases, dishonored redemptions, utter crap redemption replacements, customer service that would make SNL's "buh-bye" airline look like the freakin' Waldorf-Astoria, poor quality control, inaccurate product checklists, overabundance of low-end players in high-end products, prices getting higher and higher, stock-dumping products with print runs higher than Bill Gates' fortune...and that's BOTH of them. I say, whatever Pan-russ has to offer must be better than this. If you're surrounded by lions with only a dark and mysterious cave behind you, you're going in that cave.

After what i've seen of Topps & UD this year no, and from what i've seen of panini with the football products i'm excited to see what they do!
Panini atleast so far has had fantastic customer service, quick redemption delivery, honoring expired redemptions, replacing damaged hits, etc..
No way they can do worse than what Topps/UD did in 08-09

I'll miss UD. Always like the design of their cards, I'm very skeptical of Panini being able to match their design quality.

Prior to this year i would have said an emphatic YES... but... seeing what they BOTH did to the consumer with terrible product, delayed releasing, horrible redemptions... I say to heck with them both.. we as the consumer deserved more from both companies for years of industry support and all they did was take advantage of us.. on to hopefully better things with Panini!!!

No, but i did take a look at Panini's first basketball cards for next year, and i was not impressed.
Besides, I don't want to look at something I've already seen in the past, I want to see something new and revolutionary.Last edited by jeebus86; 07-17-2009 at 01:05 PM.
