Will you be missing Topps and Upper Deck?

I have to say I'll miss them, becase there wouldn't be many good brands out there. It's good for Press Pass and Sage! But not for me...

I believe they were suffering from lack of competition long ago. Having only two companies make all of the cards gave them room to put whatever they wanted out there and you the consumer just had to deal w/it. I personally thought it was better when you had four companies in the game. I'm not sure having only one company make all of the cards will be any better. I think they will be very good at first, but then will go the way of Topps and UD w/all the complaints listed above.

i'll miss topps and UD for sets like spa, chrome, and bowman, but at the same time, i'm looking forward to a little change with Panini

Change is good...........the hobby needs a change.

Hopefully, it will be a better change than the one I got for my Murad Redemptions!!

I certainly will not miss either.

People have just accepted that Upper Deck has been the "best" of the worst in basketball. Upper Deck has dominated basketball with high-end for some years now, and people don't think anything else can succeed. They look at everything in comparison to the crap that was UD and Topps.

Panini has made good on decent products and especially, customer service. Already a lot more than I could say for UD and Topps.

Exactly. When the news about Panini fiirst came out I was devastated, even centemplated about selling out. However now with what UD and Topps have done this year. You know with Topps Signature and all the redemptions, I am looking forward to Panini!
