target only allocates a certain amount of space to the card vendors. the vendors still own the cards, not target. it is free money for target. they only invest space, not time or money. and there is good money in cards, ask the dealers.

Not man-hours, I mixed up the mentality of a card shop with a Target, my bad.
Space is a resource. At the 4 Targets around my immediate area, the space for card sections seems to be shrinking steadily over time. Obviously they are finding more profitable products than cards for them to be downsizing the shelf-space. And they do invest time - shelf life, and for them to be replacing cards for other products means they are also aware of the shelf time and cycle. And since time is money...

Strangely I've noticed the Toys r'us by me expanding their sports card section. Unfortunately I don't really buy retail stuff.

The new 09 icons are the best hehe. I have bought 4 packs and got 4 jc's
. I dont feel bad either lol. Shopko sucks I have bought boxes of hobby boxes there and over paid and still never get crap.
