I really like the new TTMM. I couldn't tell you how many addresses I used on there that were out dated by a couple of years. This new system is nice and has the potential to be great but will only be great if we maximize its potential. Hopefully, people continue to post their successes and update addresses because after all thats what the hobby is all about.

Agreed
The fact remains that this change just did not happen overnight. I made a number of posts letting people know that the change was coming and tried to allow people a chance to try the new TTMM at their own pace. Once the new TTMM was in place it made the old success threads just a place to duplicate the success information that was in the TTMM. Why would we want to have to check two places for success info instead of one? Why would you want to post in both? We had no discussions allowed in the success threads? We still have the main forum of Autograph Central to open discussions, discuss trades, ask questions and even brag about a truely cool return. Nothing has changed there. I know others have said that the new TTMM will allow you to find and even add addresses easier than the old forums. The success threads are easier to read and better organized. You can actually see the last time someone tested an address to see how current it is and the success rate of that address. You can now track your letters sent and successes just for you in the TTMM! Yes, people do not like change as a rule. I know that when ever we roll out a new system for anything at work that there is always someone who complains. Sometimes they are right, but usually changes are made to help improve a situation. Before we had complaints about the organiztion of the addresses and how hard it was to use. We had complaints about it being hard to find successes for a specific player. The TTMM addressed both of those issues and added even more value beyond that. I thank all those who worked hard to make the old system work. Believe me when I tell you that not enough members were involved in adding addresses in the old system. This new system is designed to be used by all members and not just the few staffers who posted addresses in the old system. We can use this as an autograph community to help each other grow our collections. Best of wishes to you all on your mailings!
