Ultimate is by far my favorite product every year. The designs are nice and clean with most autos being on card but this year they dropped the ball with the set up they have. I agree with csa021 i dont expect to make my money back or gain a profit but when you only get 1/3 of your moneys worth out of a thousand dollar case u have a problem.

Another thing not mentioned in this thread.
What is up with printing plates as the hit?
That is the worst idea EVER!
Plates never go NEAR one hundred. Ultimate plates are no exceptions.

Are they always the hit? I thought I recalled seeing at least one box break elsewhere where the plate was in place of a base card ...

people just hating cuz they havent pulled a jordan bron or kobe....if ud doesnt give you jordan bron or kobe then it dropped the ball. LOL
man i remember when people would buy 100 dollar boxes in the 90s just to have a chance at getting a auto that was 1 in 7200 packs.

$100 was expensive for a box in the 90s. Now only the cheapest boxes are less than that. Even plain old Upper Deck where you get three $6 jersey cards and one $10 auto in a box will cost you three digits. Boxes have been a near-universal waste of money for over a decade.

since when have they not have been a waste of money....your gambling basically since the day the first ever box was sold....lol
