Just a vent
Ughh, some guy had two serialed UD exclusive Ewings on eBay to start the week, one to 25 the other to 100. Selling as a lot. Was watching, waiting for tomorrow, go on today, gone. Pulled. Man I am ticked.
Anyone else have a story similar? I should have made the guy an offer behind doors.

That's the problem with eBay and probably exactly what happened to the cards.
I wouldn't stoop to that level, what go's around comes around as they say.
Just make the minimum bid, that way stuff like this can't happen as easily.

i think i have one for everyone.....a couple years ago i won an ebay auction for a Ben Gordon Hoops Nameplate/Auto i forgot the serial #, Well i won the auction for an Amazing $6bux and some change, Well i obviously pay ASAP for this and about an hour later i have an email saying i had a refund???
so at this point im already in my mind saying everything in the book and so i receive another email from the Seller saying and i quote" IM SORRY ABOUT THIS BUT THE CARD WAS DAMAGED AND DOESNT FEEL RIGHT SELLING IT" (But by the scan is looked PRISTINE condition) so i said this is 150% BSSSS he obviously didnt want to sell it for what it sold for and he realized it and decided to pull the plug and gave me a $20 refund for the inconvenience but that still didnt cover the fact that he screwed up and i called his bluff and he wimped out....

Ohh wow, the $20 refund really made that guy look guilty.
Same thing happend to me on a Carmelo/Kenyon Auto Patch Plaque...
I was about to win it for like $9.99 and the guy emails me and says its broken but his neighbor has same exact thing and to make an offer.
Then he writes back 2 days later to say his neighbor wants $100 or $200, some ridiculous price and if i want it.
No...I want it for $9.99!

Yeah, I know, I have people contact me all the time for differnet items and if I can close the auction. I hate it. Guess I need to start bidding early, then wait.

Sucks...
Yeah man just bid early/first/minimum whatever that way it makes it a little more difficult for the seller to yank it early.
Sorry man, hope they pop up again.

Same thing happened to me three times in the past day lol. Was looking at a Dwight Howard Treasury Plate Auto 1/1 for $85 and was thinkin on buying it and next thing i no its been pulled off ebay. Then i find the Letters "A" and "R" in "Howard" (1/1 game worn letters) for $200 each and was thinking on buying one and next thing i no those are gone to. what the heck!?!?! At least i have the "D" lol. thanx :)
