This is not new in the celebrities world. He has a authist child with his wife so I don;t see him as insensitive. maybe something came up or something like that

First off I will say, you have no idea of the circumstances behind any type of meeting that was or wasn't discussed so I'm not sure why you can say you have negative opinion of Carey because of this. Even if it is true, I'd assume that he probably had some other commitment to attend to.

If he actually didn't it is sad for the little boy, but can't you imagine all of the requests similar to this that celebrities receive on a weekly basis? They could probably stay continuously booked with charity type events alone.

I dont see why your bashing Jim Carey over this. Celebs cant spend every waking moment doing things for other people. They have lives to live out, just like everyone else and just like everyone else, how do you know something didnt come up?? Jim Carey doesnt seem like the kind of guy that would do something like that unless something came up.

About 2 years ago I came down with cancer. A foundation called "Make A Wish" called me and said that I could make a wish, ANY WISH and they would do their best to make it come true. I wished to meet Jim Carrey. Well, Jim Carrey was WAY to busy with "The Truman Show", so he called me at my house and we talked for about 3 hours... it was awesome.

I guess I'm just used to watching that ESPN My Wish things where the athletes are more than happy to help out.

but thats because they only will show the ones that agreed to it. It wouldn't be much of a show if they give the kids background and then cut to the player saying 'Nahhhhh'. I'd say its just about the same percentage as those of celebrities

just because its someones last wish doesn't make it a 100% reality that it will happen

Approx 30,000 children die everyday from preventable measures, and most of their last wishes of some simple food or medicine go unheard, we cant even provide that, we have to go wasting our money on sports cards and signatures of dead people because you know thas more important then letting someone live... How dispicable we must be .. Makes Jim Carrey look like a bloody saint.
